Ethan Engel of Chetek, WI Has Died – The Stevens Point community and the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Ethan Engel, who passed away on November 25, 2025. Ethan was a young man whose warmth, kindness, and positive outlook on life left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing has created a deep sense of sorrow among classmates, friends, faculty members, and all who valued the light he brought into their lives.
Ethan was more than just a student he was a vibrant presence on campus, known for his uplifting personality and genuine care for others. Those who interacted with him remember his dependable nature, his thoughtful conversations, and the way he made people feel seen and supported. Whether through academic work, student activities, or day-to-day connections, Ethan consistently showed kindness and respect, earning admiration and affection from all corners of the university community.
